SeizeVictory.org – A Website with Testimonies (Coming Soon)

I’ve finally moved forward with developing a new website for testimonies and glorifying my Father. Here it is.

The site’s niche is for believers in Christ who need help putting off the “old man”, moving forward in the “new man,” living to the max (YHWH-max that is), and other related things. There also will be a section for sharing Christ with those who haven’t found Him.

If you have anything you’d like to share, please email me.

But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD. – Jeremiah 9:24 (KJV)

Trust

According to Gallup, many Americans have lost confidence in several institutions, such as Congress and the Presidency. A lot of this can be blamed on the unfaithfulness of the said institutions. Many leaders have been decieiving their way in (and to stay) in power. Who can be trusted in all this?

The Father is fully faithful all the time, even when we are not. He always keeps his word. And even the few times he has taken his word back, it was for our benefit. How cool is that?

Condemnation & Forgiveness

This past week I’ve been receiving condemnation from the adversary. I made a mistake Friday night, and he put fear in my heart. The thing was, though, it was a mistake, and I know I have been forgiven of them in the past.

The devil used the misuse of Heb 10:26 to hurt me, concerning sins I did earlier. I had the same problem about a year ago, and pushed the verse to the side. However, I believe I have found the correct answer for the interpretation.

Now, I read quite a few long explanations that seem t go around in circles. So I decided to ask God. Later, by rightly dividing the Word, I found the answer.

Even with a close look at the verse, I think the verse says what says and means what it means. However, it has to be viewed in the light of the rest of the Word.

When David is confronted with his sin by Nathan the prophet, Nathan says that David “depised the commandment of God,” like how Hebrews 10:29 describes the sin in verse 26. However, David repented and found mercy, even though God didn’t explicitly say “unless you repent”. A similar occurrence occurs in Hezekiah’s life, when he is confronted by Isaiah, and a few other times. If that was the case in the age of the Law, how much more in the age of Grace?

God doesn’t want anyone to die, even in Acts 5 when the married couple decides to lie to God. He wants us to be with Him. He says (in Ezekiel I believe) that he doesn’t want the wicked to perish, but repent (change).

I know I was forgiven before, and I am forgiven now. I can speak in tongues, have prayers answered (surely by the Father), and have also backed it up with a rightly divided word. So I’m going to let my past get me anymore, thanks to the True God, His Son, and the mercy they have!

Busy with Believing

Lately I’ve been pretty busy. I’ve been trying to juggle school, work, my other job, and having a life all at the same time.

However, even with all this busyness, I’m enjoying the freedom that I have found. There was once a time I would waste time and not get anything done. I wouldn’t really focus on something. Now, my Father has given me the ability and the drive to simply get things done. Of course, I still have struggles like anyone else, but now I’ve found myself simply expecting God’s blessing and help when I need it. Day-by-day, He’s showing me how to live with Him and His Word as not only the (complete) foundation in my life, but also believing that it will stand firm.

In a nutshell, I’m in “busyness with believing;” busy, but still peaceful. Isn’t God cool?

Persecution

I posted this once before (before the server barfed, that is), and actually wrote it much longer before then. I don’t think it deserves to be forever stuck with my drafts, so here it is.

I’m not of the world. I have no reason to conform to it or it’s doctrines. This, of course, may lead to persecution. But even with that added on, I won’t back down.

Remember the word that I said to you: “A servant is not greater than his lord.” If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do to you for my name’s sake, because they don’t know him who sent me. – John 15:20-21 (WEB)

Persecution is strong in other nations such as Tibet or Iraq, but where is there persecution here in America or Europe? Persecution isn’t always in the form of physical beatings or acts. Persecution can be in the form of false accusations or other verbal attack.

Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
