Gwu

I haven’t made a post for ten days, but that’s okay. I am going away to Shenandoah for the weekend. That’s not a very big deal though, since I’ve been there so many times (I lost count).

Anyway if anyone (Hopefully assuming someone actually reads this, more than once.) is wondering what I’m doing, I’m sorry. I don’t feel like telling you right now. ;)

September so far.

It’s hard to believe it’s the night of the 9th already. This month has been speeding by. Here are several things to note so far:

-I finally got my DEC-1 certificate on Tuesday. The next thing I have to do is take a week-long behind-the-wheel course. After that, I can test for my license! :D

-Home schooling this year has been difficult so far. There are too many distractions. It’s very hard to study Shakespheare when your baby sister is bugging you. Tommorrow I’m to escape to the library to do my work in peace.

-I’m also planning on going back to the gym tommorrow; my forearms and shoulders need work. However, I’ve been saying that since July or August, so hopefully tommorrow will be different.

-On Saturday I have a busy day with the Young Marines. In in the morning I need to go before the “review board” for becoming a recruit instructor , re-register, and volunteer at the R. Lee Ermey Celebrity Experience (Celebrity-Amateur Golf Tournament).

-It looks like our September 18th Concert (Read this if you don’t know what I’m talking about.) won’t be happening, at least not on that date. Nobody responded to the email. Therefore, I will call everyone and plan a concert on some other date. If you want to come to the concert, feel free to contact me.

That’s all I can list for now. Sorry if there’s any bad grammar or spelling. That is all.

A Links Database!

Though I added this a week ago, I didn’t tell anyone. I added a links database. I already added some links, but some help would be nice. All you need to do is click add site to submit a link.

“Why did you do this?”, you ask? Well, you see, I can surf the web and can come across some neat stuff, sites about God, music, Free Software/Open Source distributions, etc. Though I put them favorites/bookmarks sometimes, I usually use two different browsers, two operating systems, and I re-install my Linux system often. So, needless to say, I can lose them easily.

So, I thought, “I should have web based favorites. That way I’ll be able to access and add to it anywhere!” Then I thought, “Maybe I should have public web based favorites!” Then one day I installed phpLinks.

The end.:p

Open-Amp Plan

Here’s my new plan for Open-Amp:

I’ve realized something (Though I already knew it), I suck at C. The non-existence of documentation for the Xmms code doesn’t help, either. So, until I learn more of C, I’ve decided to use a language I know and love, Pascal.

I’m going to work on the current Delphi version Open-Amp and port it to Lazarus. That way, I can use the same code for both platforms. After that, since TMediaPlayer obviously doesn’t work on non-Windows systems, I’ll attempt to add support for Xmms plugins. That way, current Xmms plugins could be shared, allowing an close development of the two clients.

Now as for the server end, I haven’t touched anything yet. :)

That’s it, for now, I think.

It’s Finally Finished!!

Today, after putting it off for two and a half months, I finally finished the workbook for my driver education course. I still can’t believe it took me three hours to do the last seven pages (with help!). I’m going to double check it tonight and mail it tommorrow.

After they get the workbook and check over it, I’ll receive my DEC-1 certificate. After that, I’ll do a week long, home instructed behind-the-wheel course, then I’ll go the DMV to receive my license!

The SATs were nothing compared to this. :|
